Across the street there’s a party house. We’ve been there once or twice. They sometimes make a slip-and-slide, a whole floor overflowing with water and suds. You can bet the landlord doesn’t know.
If you pay attention, you can tell exactly when someone has a bad fall, or a perfect run, just by the pitch of the people yelling. One goes up, one goes down. That’s music for you. That’s a lesson you could teach in music class. Just make the kids slide across the room while a crowd watches. They’d get the idea.
